'Wizard In The Woods' was the first album completed as Flex Off, and all the tracks were made in 2010 - 2011. This album makes me happy to look back on, i like the moods in all the tracks. At the time i had my studio set up in a specific way to allow me to bash out tracks quickly whenever i was in the mood to do music, so the result was that a lot of the tracks were started and completed in the same day. The process was a learning curve because when you work quickly to write music in this way, in a short period of time, you tend to go with the flow and with the feelings you have at that moment in time, whereas leaving a song to continue onto another day can result in you having a different mood or feeling towards that track and eventually overthinking the work you've done. I sometimes think about doing a Wizard In The Woods 2, or at least another album with the same approach and in the same style and vibe.
The music on this album is along the lines of chilled, downtempo, idm, trip hop, funky, happy beats & vibes. Kick back and enjoy.
