The heavy threat of the Cold War lingered over concrete-coloured skies. Fear was spreading. Genereals were gathering in their masses. People envisioned the end appearing amidst a mushroom of dust and death. But deep underground, top government officials were working to stifle the doom before it erupted. Sleepless nights brought about the creation of a master program to save the Earth. Yet no one realised what was created was too powerful, too vast to fathom, too much for the public to comprehend. On the day Polokov was discovered, a pact was made in those cavernouse halls beneath the ground by military personnel. Promises were made that Polokov would not be released for thirty years, nor would it be spoken of.
But now that time has come to an end. And it will not be silenced any more.
