about

Interludes is the soundtrack to an imaginary story of travels and encounters.
This album is a new concept i had been thinking about for a collection of short tracks i recorded which all struck a particular chord in me. Many of these pieces held something special to me that i wanted to keep them exactly as they are instead of turning them into bigger produced tracks. So the solution was to turn them into an album of their own. However on the first draft of the album, it felt somewhat dry and bare and needed something else to bring it to life. That was when i decided to put many of the tracks into a context, and then each track becomes a part of the bigger puzzle to form a larger abstract theme for the album. Therefore many natural sounds and speeches were added to tracks, which compliment and help give this album its charm. "Interludes" is an album of landscapes, wildlife, nature and experiences. The music is kind, content and comforting, but sometimes lingering on the edge of the comfort zone. The majority of the tracks are short, like a short interlude, as each track was a short interlude in my life. All tracks were recorded from a Eurorack Modular Synth, a Virus Ti or both, some time between 2013 - 2019.
I really enjoyed making this album and i hope you enjoy listening to it just as much.

Track 3 was originally recorded for "Interstellar Space Mission" by Sadistic. It is featured here in a different context and theme.
